area finals of open mic uk

Exciting news guys!
As you know from a previous blog post, I was due to take part in the Regional Finals of Open Mic UK (if you don't know what I'm on about, take a look at my blog post titled, 'Open Mic UK'!).
Well, I had the Regional Final the Saturday just gone (12th October) and once I had competed against other singers and groups in my category (which was 16 to 21), we were told who had got through and....I HAD GOT THROUGH TO AREA FINALS!! I was so excited! :D
Also, interesting fact for you Giles Potter, from this years UK X Factor, performed and according to one of the runners for the show, Tom Mann and Alejandro (who both were with Giles Potter during the X Factor) were also there watching which was pretty cool!  
Anyway, my Area Finals is on Sunday 24th November. Doors open at 3:45pm and it's at the Birmingham NEC! Tickets cost £10 and if you would like tickets, go on the website which is: http://www.openmicuk.co.uk/
